The disc 1and after adding my serial number it says to insert disc 2, I cannot access disc 2 as the screen is a full screen of the first operation and I cannot reduce or minimize it to get to disc 2 so I eventually aborted the attempt. To a folder on my desktop and went to PlayonLinux and commenced with the installation, part way through I loaded the discs for RTCW by using my wife's laptop and copied to a flashdrive (as I think my CD/DVD my be playing up) Thanks for your time, however things are going from bad to worse and I am really gettingĭespondent even though I said I would try, It seems every move I make requires an update Thanks all for your help (I will master Linux one day I promise) The games are for my own amusement.Īfter all this I do not have RAGE installed anywhere except a Folder in PlayonLinux's virtual drives, do I now have to re-download the game (I looked in Synaptic Manager and there is no reference to RAGE) I then thought I would try to to install the game RAGE using PlayonLinux but during the installation I needed to install STEAM and the installed version is (1.0.0.47) but the latest version is (1:1.0.0.45)ĭo I have to register in order to play the games I want to download via PlayonLinux,? Difficult to recall all the reasons for failure and there was a few things either missing not installed or incomplete, so many things were updated I lost track, I virtually used all my airtime and still nothing. I tried to install Wolfenstein (no RTWC displayed) using PlayonLinux (version 4.2.2) but it failed, I then tried to load the game with the disc's, which I have, but that failed too.
